The Story so Far...
Leviticus Wright, a man with a past unspoken. At an early age, his parents were murdered and he was forced into a life of slavery amongst a pirate crew. He started his time at sea as a small boy thrown around and ridiculed on a daily basis by the crew, forced to clean up after their wicked habits. Every day was a struggle and his life became monotonous and unbearable and had grown tired of it all. After what seemed to be a lifetime, at the age of 17, he was put on his typical duty of cleaning up after the captain and the crew. After the laborious day, his muscles aching and his soul broken, he finished his duties and headed to the storage, where he cleared a spot on the wet, rotting wood in the store room, the smell of fish staining his lungs yet another night. Suddenly, as he eased his eyes into a slumber, the trapdoor to the storeroom creaked opened and heard the mumbles and sloppy footsteps of his drunken captain. Due to his weak state and malnourished body, Levi was hit across face and taken to the ground with ease. But, in the captains drunken state, one of the bombs attached to his belt, slipped free. With a swift movement, Levi snatched the weapon and hid it. After the treacherous night, with tears in his eyes and bruises on his body, he decided tonight was the end of his life as he knew it. He marched into the captains quarters with a rage and courage he had never felt before. Before the captain could open his eyes and realize what was happening, Levi rushed at him, pushed him onto his bed, lit the bomb and stuck it into the captains mouth. For the first time in years, he sat there looking the captain in his eyes, smiling. With a loud BAM and huge explosion, Levi was thrown back.By a blessing unknown, he had survived the attack and all that was left of the Former captain was a bloodied hat sitting by his, mangled body. He turned around and saw the crew surrounding him. With his new found courage, he grabbed the hat and put it on his head, the captains blood dripping down his face. He turned to the crowd with a stained red beard and said these words, words that some of those men heard for the last time. "No more shall I bend my knee to you who deserve nothing" He reached out for the captains sword sitting next to him and the knife the captain ate his dinner with and slid the blades together."sssst" "No longer shall I sleep amongst the rotting fish and blood stained floors that lie below the deck" He looked at the crew one by one with a malice and hate in eyes. "I did not choose this life, as many of you did, so I give you a choice. Stand before me and die with your captain or join me on a new path." That night, many of the men who sailed under the former captains flag were gutted and left for the sea. Those who remained gave Levi their loyalty and dubbed the new captain "The Red Shark" Symbolizing the blood shed and rage shown that night.Now 26, Levi had had hated that he had become the man he despised so much. One night, while the crew was at a port, he took the Dinghy and left. On shore, lost amongst the crowds, he bumped into a man with a lute, playing music that seemed to ease his soul and forget his past. In no time, he found himself picking up various instruments and playing to ease the minds of those around him. After a year ashore and wandering the streets, he realized he did not have to be the man that his captain was. Levi has now returned to sea on his new ship, the Black Rose. Though still engaging in piracy, his life as a merciless captain was over. You can find Levi playing on the streets of your local town playing various instruments or sailing on the open ocean for months at a time in search of treasure or working for the highest bidders.Levi is very flirtatious to women he meets, but truly seeks out a woman to calm his mind and tame his silver tongue. He is loyal to those he loves and surrounds himself too, but can be very suspicious of people. Since He was raised on a ship, the customs and languages of this world is not something he is familiar with. he has picked up a few words from various languages, but relies on his excellent ability to read people. Levi is always looking for crew members or hints at treasure or adventure!
